5 years! I don’t want to pull the anniversary date trick on you… but maybe just take a look back and remember the moment when my team and I just went for this electronic adventure, with heads down, eyes closed and beating hearts !
The festival means 5 years of continued trustfulness with the Conseil Général du Nord, our main sponsor, but also with the towns of Lille, Dunkerque and Maubeuge, who give us the possibility of producing the NAME the way we dream it should be.

Let’s enjoy this fifth edition both during the day and throughout the night.
‘NAME by day” is the big new thrill for the 2009 edition, and it takes place in the Gare Saint Sauveur in Lille. The venue is open to all: whether you love electro or not, young or old, you’re all welcome to come and discover the festival’s exhibition, our guest philosophers and enjoy musical afternoons. A crowd of Djs from the North of France (and further) will take over our turntables. Even children can dance on the Baby Dancefloor. No need for a ticket, the entrance is free.

For dedicated clubbers, we offer two crazed nights at the Tri Postal, and a splendid closing night in Dunkerque. The line-up has opened up to become more eclectic, but our founding Djs are still here (yes, I’m talking about Ellen!). Didn’t I tell you that the NAME festival is all about loyalty…
