1st season of Commercial Violences was created at Avignon Festival for the occasion of the 25th hour. Through this 2nd season, Fanny Bouyagui continue her work of appropriation – a free adaptation of the tale of Cinderella in 4 simultaneous acts.
A modern tale about pictures violences and esthetic models  imposed by the advertisements. A kingdom where beauty, sharped with scalpels and her twin sister “youth” are queens … In this world bombes by images, the marketing icons create new alienations.
4 girls, from adolescence to the 40th, with their own obessions and waitings : perpetual connexion / Messenger / Cell Phones / clothes, body, fear of the time which inexorably goes on, wait of the charming prince, seduction – loneliness ?
The video screens are an echo of their inner state.
The sonore environment rythmes their moves.
They’re codified until the caricature at the edge of
the ridiculous …
At the end the morale of the tale is cynic and cold.
