In March this year, as spring was getting on its way, Art Point M chose to stop by Maubeuge for the NAME events, traditionally organised there in September. L''Espace Sculfort, a giant of concrete and steel that offered the perfect vfenue for this 'Made in London' night.
At the turntables was Hexstatic - THE world reference of 'sound' Vjing! Robin Brunson delivered an astonishing sound and image live performance, an electro-funk cocktail to the like of Nunja Tune, with off-the-mark samples and bootlegs illuminated by animaed images. Then came the dazzling arty duo Dollz at play. Those two electric and fluo-punky girls offered a charming set with clever new wave, acid house and minimal techno reminiscence. Then APM 001 guided dancers to dawn in style!
On the following day, you only had time to emerge from sleep before immersing yourself in the deep pool of the Pasteur swimming pool, rocking to Dj sets and Vjing on giant screens. It's rather nice to swim to specially designed sounds and to dive in the surrounding images. Splash and dance away!!

Logicaly, the start of the 2009 season is eagerly awaited for the many new surprises ahead!
