Between natural catastrophes, the Olympic Games and Tibet, Ingrid B, the increase in fuel prices and the high food prices… The NAME Festival is back! Thanks to the Département du Nord and for its 4th edition, like a bubble of happiness and warmth, in the same format as post-cards sent from Copacabana by our now famous grandpa and grandma’s !

Longer, harder… This year the festival ranges from the 18th of September to the 11th of October and the Tri Postal displays night and day versions… Between two clubbin’ weekends – making 4 delirious evenings to the rhythms of dance floor gurus – the PEACE exposition proposes an investigation of today’s world. A way to weave the tolerance and sharing values that are dear to me and which lives throughout the festival via its festivities…
The NAME does not stop here. We have to add a sensory experience at the Villeneuve d’Ascq Planetarium, a musical stride… Between two DJ sets, a time to ponder with philosopher Yves Michaud and two open debate conferences. Master-classes are also given on the latest sound and images softwares. Lest not forget the “befores” and “afters”… A detour to the Condition Publique for a multimedia show. Why not go by metro! This year, metro stations will live the festival colors with festival sound in the speakers! As a super bonus: “Your headshot in the metro!” A few days of rest before the grand finale in Dunkerque lead by the beautiful Ellen…
And resume the “season” in Maubeuge as of 2009.
